The creation of the International Research Center of the Atlantic (AIR Center), whose opening event took place in the UFRJ Science Park, was the subject of an article in O Globo newspaper on March 18. The center will gather scientists and researchers from different countries, including Brazil and UFRJ, to carry out studies on climate, biodiversity, sea currents and other ocean aspects that can be used to foster the economic development.
