The UFRJ Green Fund that is settled in the Park has launched a new means of transportation for the campus: two electric cars for shared use. The initiative is part of a project about sustainable mobility called “Integra UFRJ”” which includes 60 bikes for shared use. The vehicles are automatic, they can take up to four passengers and they last for approximately 120 km. There will be two recharging stations: one at the Center for Technology (CT) and another one at the Center for Health Sciences (CCS). Each user needs to return the car after two hours of use that is restricted to the employees of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, who need to register in the project’s platform.“
