During four days, hundreds of people visited the stand of the UFRJ Science Park during the Rio Oil & Gas 2018 fair, the largest event of the field in Latin America, where innovative technologies of companies, startups and laboratories of the institution were presented. At the stand of the Park, an interactive wall was built, using Arduino, pressure sensors and mapping, to tell the history of the technological development of the oil & gas sector in Brazil. In the side event TechWeek, the Park’s CEO, José Carlos Pinto, participated in a debate with a lecture about the ways in which technological innovation can both boost and transform the sector.
