Christmas season at the UFRJ Science Park has officially been opened with a Christmas tree made of PET bottles that is translucent during the day and colorful at night. The initiative is part of a project that the Park has developed together with the School of Fine Arts (EBA/UFRJ) and that involved selecting, by means of a tender, a piece of art about sustainability practices, beauty and creativity. The selected artist is called Bruno Villaça and his work of art is called “Lacemaker woman”. Bruno has a degree in Scenography and is currently studying Clothing and Performing Arts at the School of Fine Arts (EBA/UFRJ).
