A partnership between the National Historical Museum of Rio de Janeiro, researchers from Lamce, laboratory installed in the UFRJ Science Park and Engset startup, a former resident at the COPPE Business Incubator, will gather technology and history through the use of technologies of augmented reality and holography. The application named MHN-GuideIn allows visitors to see, in the cameras of their smartphones and tablets, tridimensional virtual elements of the panels and banners that can be found in the carriages gallery of the National Historical Museum of Rio de Janeiro. Users are able to examine details of the interior, driving the smartphone or tablets as if they were in their own vehicle.
