Developed by Lemobs, a resident startup of COPPE/UFRJ Business Incubator, and carried out in a partnership with the Ministry of Planning, the “Aedes Combate (Combat Aedes)” calculated, in the last six months, the existence of 1.500 developing places of the Aedes aegypti in 104 mil inspection visits carried out in public institutions. That is an app which allows the online register of the identification of the Aedes aegypti mosquito’s larvae, facilitating the combat against the dengue, zika and chikungunya carrying mosquito. The tool is free of charge for bodies and agencies of the federal government and municipalities. To be accredited, the agency or municipality must access the website aedes.sigelu.com and fill in a register.
