Vallourec, a company with its research center located at the UFRJ Science Park, launches the 2nd edition of Vallourec Open Brasil, a mentorship and development program devoted, in this edition, to startups from all over the country that can help the company to solve challenges related to improving the efficiency of processes and to the modernization of operations at the mining units, forest units and at the Barreiro’s plant. During the first edition of the program, technology-based enterprises with solutions for online monitoring and analysis of a big amount of data were selected. Twist, a resident at the Coppe/UFRJ Business Incubator at the time, was one of the winners. The selected startups will have a contract to carry out a proof of concept together with Vallourec.
